Eurovita S.p.a. ed Eurovita Holding S.p.a.

Customers are informed that:

• • By order prot. no. 0024821 of January 31, 2023, IVASS (Institute for Insurance Supervision) ordered, pursuant to Articles 230 and 275 of the Private Insurance Code, the provisional management of Eurovita S.p.A. and Eurovita Holding S.p.A., appointing Dr. Alessandro Santoliquido as commissioner. In the context of this particular context, by a subsequent order No. 29903/23 of February 6, 2023, IVASS ordered, pursuant to Article 188, paragraph 3-bis, letter b) of the Private Insurance Code, the temporary suspension of the policyholders’ right to exercise surrenders regulated by insurance and capitalization contracts signed with Eurovita. The latter measure applies to requests for redemption, partial or total, submitted to the Company after h 20.00 on February 6, 2023 and will be in effect until March 31, 2023. The suspension will not operate for settlements due in the event of maturity and claim nor for cases of redemption requests and advances related to supplementary pension forms. Both of the above measures were the subject of related press releases published by Eurovita on its institutional website.
  • By Decree dated March 29, 2023, the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, upon the proposal of IVASS, subsequently ordered the Extraordinary Administration and the dissolution of the bodies with administration and control functions with respect to Eurovita. Following the long-awaited measure, IVASS appointed Alessandro Santoliquido, Commissioner for the extraordinary management of both companies, and Antonio Blandini, as Chairman, Sandro Panizza and Monica Biccari, as members of the relevant Supervisory Committees.

No. 0075800/23 of March 30, 2023, IVASS (Institute for Insurance Supervision) ordered, pursuant to Article 188, paragraph 3-bis, lett. b) of Legislative Decree No. 209 of September 7, 2005, the extension of the effects of the suspension of the right of policyholders to exercise surrenders regulated by insurance and capitalization contracts entered into with Eurovita S.p.A. The measure does not apply to redemptions and advances under the supplementary pension forms governed by Legislative Decree No. 252 of Dec. 5, 2005. The extension is effective through June 30, 2023.   • By Order Prot. No. 159483/23 of June 30, 2023, IVASS (Institute for Insurance Supervision) ordered, pursuant to Article 188, paragraph 3-bis, lett. b) of Legislative Decree No. 209 of September 7, 2005, the extension of the effects of the suspension of the right of policyholders to exercise surrenders regulated by insurance and capitalization contracts entered into with Eurovita S.p.A. The extension is effective through October 31, 2023. Excluded from the suspension are redemptions and advances under the supplementary pension forms regulated by Legislative Decree No. 252 of December 5, 2005.
  • By order prot. no. 0238230/23 dated 17/10/2023, IVASS (Institute for Insurance Supervision) authorized, pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 209 of September 7, 2005, Cronos Vita S.p.A. to carry on insurance business
    in life insurance classes I, III, IV and V and non-life insurance classes 1 and 2 referred to in Article 2 of the aforementioned legislative decree.
