THE CANDIDATE will have the opportunity to support colleagues in the COMPLIANCE Office in the following activities

  • Verification of the proper functioning and effectiveness of procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (ex-post operational / functional controls) for all banking operations and investment services
  • identification of measures to be implemented in order to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ongoing monitoring of actions taken operational / functional controls

BRANCH MANAGER

For one of our branches we are looking for a Branch Manager, who will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all operations within the Agency, such as approving loans and lines of credit, defining business objectives, coordinating activities and advising customers in order to increase sales of financial products.

The main duties of the Branch Manager will be:

  • Create, implement and evaluate business plan, develop and revise operating plans and procedures consistent with financial goals, internal policies and deadlines;
  • Manage Branch staff to ensure overall efficiency of daily operations, assign and supervise administrative and financial operations, keep self and staff current on current protocols, policies and procedures;
  • analyse the financial, economic and asset situation of clients in order to optimize it, based on their needs and the indications received from the Bank;
  • Monitor budget and ensure sales targets are met by interpreting customer preferences and attracting new customers.
  • Develop and implement customer service procedures;
  • Ensure that goals and deadlines are met, and projects conducted in accordance with internal policies, working with the Executive Offices;

  • Supervise the conduct of banking operations, analyze office activities and employee performance, applying any necessary changes to methods used
  • Contribute to the development of the Branch to ensure objectives are met, interpreting customer preferences and attracting new customers.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3/4 years of experience as a Branch Manager in a bank.

CFO – Budget & Tax Office

The person sought has an economic-financial background and has a proven track record in the role of at least 3-5 years in structured companies, preferably in the banking sector.

The selected person will be placed within the CFO AREA – Financial Statements & Taxation Office, supporting the team with organizational autonomy in the activities of the office and collaborating with other organizational units of the Area.

Primary duties will be:

  • Monitoring of company accounting in compliance with statutory, tax and supervisory regulations;
  • correct accounting treatment of transactions, with particular reference to ordinary and distressed loans, including transactions involving the acquisition of impaired loans on the market;
  • Participation in the preparation and review of administrative, accounting and tax processes, adapting these systems to the increasing complexity of the business;
  • registration of invoices payable and execution of related payments, also with a view to management control of costs;
  • Management of the suppliers’ schedule;
  • Issuing and recording invoices receivable and managing related collections;
  • accounting management of company assets and entries related to the application of IFRS16;
  • tax obligations (VAT obligations, Single Certifications, Esterometer, Intrastat, etc. …);
  • Preparation of adjusting, settling and supplementary entries;
  • Interaction with management control for cost accounting, budgeting and reporting;
  • Collaboration in the preparation of monthly and quarterly income statements and balance sheets and the Annual Report;

Solution Bank is selecting a candidate to be included in an internship project within the PLANNING AND REPORTING Office in the Head Office in Bologna.

The activities that the candidate will have the opportunity to follow, under the supervision of the Head of the Organizational Unit and senior colleagues will be:

-Processing and monitoring of the Budget and Business Plan of the Retail Branches network.

-Processing of periodic reporting (monthly, quarterly, etc.)

-Analysis of the company’s economic performance: deviations, Key Performance Indicators, benchmarking with competitors.

At the end of the internship experience, the candidate will have acquired the main notions of management control and financial planning. In particular, he/she will have developed an aptitude for critical business analysis, knowledge and use of techniques and tools for management control and financial analysis, economic and financial modelling.

The mission of the Function is:

  • Analyze, with a view to continuous improvement, the processes and procedures that impact on the operations of territorial structures (Branches, Dg Headquarters);
  • Support corporate structures in resolving critical issues of an organizational nature (processes, procedures, tools, etc.) and/or related to business collateral services (Real Estate, Security, etc.).

The activities that the candidate will have the opportunity to follow, under the supervision of the Head of the Organisational Unit and senior colleagues, will be:

  • support in preliminary and/or supplementary analyses regarding the valuation of complex transactions with underlying real estate assets, including, but not limited to, urban planning checks, scenario analyses, potential of building areas;
  • working with the various offices to carry out all the activities necessary to comply with the Guarantee Management Regulation and Credit Risk Mitigation (CRM) processes, such as:
    • assignment of full, drive-by and desk evaluations to third-party evaluators upon delivery of the report;
    • verifies that the document drawn up is filled out completely, using an ABI Compliant approach, and contains all the information required by internal company regulations;
    • collaboration with the Workout department on the exit of impaired positions with real estate underlyings or whose repayment strategy depends on the valuation of real estate assets;
