EIF and Solution Bank provide EUR 50 million for Italian SMEs and Small MidCaps in the context of the InvestEU Fund programme
Solution Bank and the European Investment Fund (“EIF”) have signed an agreement for EUR 50 million aimed at supporting Italian SMEs and Small MidCaps within the thematic areas of “Innovation and Digitalisation” and “Sustainability”.
The loans, both short and medium-long term, are backed by a guarantee (equal to 70% of the financed amount) issued by the EIF with a maximum size of EUR 7.5 million. Solution Bank will be able to provide InvestEU guaranteed loans for a period of 3 years (until March 2026).
The InvestEU Guarantee is available to all companies and organisations that fall under the definition of SME or Small MidCap (up to 500 AWU). Purposes may include (i) Investment in tangible and/or intangible assets; (ii) Working capital/liquidity; (iii) Transfer or acquisition of business unit(s).
