    The candidate will work in the Investment Team based in Milan as Junior Analyst, with a focus on the Corporate Lending, Leveraged Loan and High-Yield Bond area. Day-to-day tasks responsibilities will include:

    • Analyzing financial information and performing credit due diligence;
    • Creating financial models and performing scenario analysis on business plans;
    • Drafting investment committee memos;
    • Monitoring investments portfolio;
    • Participating in client meetings.

    Specialistic and IT competences

    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint);
    • A previous experience in Corporate and Leverage Finance, Investment Fund is a plus but not mandatory;
    • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English (mandatory);

    Key responsibilities/main duties of the resource:

    • Manage and control digital document archives;
    • Perform control and monitoring activities with regard to the functioning of procedures and reporting of anomalies;

    • Prepare periodic reports on activity status and operational metrics; provide feedback to management on efficiency/anomalies;

    • Coordinate external suppliers/technology partners, ensuring SLAs, costs and timely delivery;
    • Participate in the budgeting process, cost estimates and investments in innovation;
    • Contribute to internal training/awareness on organisational and IT issues (security, proper use of systems, company policies).
    • Support the alignment of procedural capabilities with strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements (GDPR, banking regulations, ICT regulations, standards such as ISO, COBIT, etc.).
    Ideal knowledge and experience for the role:
    • Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar position in the banking or financial sector will be a preferred prerequisite;
    • Flexibility in approaching and managing different issues, identifying priorities and timing;
    • Knowledge of the main management tools related to the organisational area (document storage, substitute storage, expense approval processes, etc.)
    • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and applications: operating systems (preferably AS400-Sibank), networks, servers, virtualisation, backups, cloud computing (at least basic knowledge);
    • Good knowledge of management software and banking applications;
    • Ability to analyse, map, redefine and optimise business procedures;
    • Excellent problem-solving and priority management skills;
    • Communication skills, aptitude for teamwork, ability to interface with various stakeholders (management, controls, business, suppliers);
    • Knowledge of relevant banking regulations: GDPR, banking/financial/regulatory regulations relating to ICT, data security, DORA
