Solution Bank has adhered to the Memorandum of Understanding aimed at facilitating the repayment of loans by women victims of gender-based violence, supporting the awareness campaign underway in society aimed at spreading a culture of combating this unacceptable social problem.
The initiative provides for the possibility of suspending the payment of mortgage instalments, loans and financing for the duration of the “protection path” and in any case for no longer than 18 months from the presentation of the request. The interest portion, contractually established, will instead be repaid on the original due dates.
To apply, the following documents must be presented at one of the Solution Bank branches:
1) Form 1 – Application form duly completed and signed;
2) Certification of the start of the “protection journey” with an indication of the expected date of its conclusion;
Upon receipt of the request, the Bank undertakes to make the suspension operational within 30 days of the acceptance of the request by the Client.
The suspension also entails the cancellation of the fees related to the financing (i.e. instalment collection, accounting fees) and of the interest on arrears (except in the case of non-payment of the interest portion on the dates envisaged in the original repayment plan. During the suspension period, the beneficiary of the measure may at any time request the resumption of the amortisation plan. The resumption of the amortisation plan takes place at the end of the suspension period with the corresponding extension of the amortisation plan for a duration equal to the suspension period.
